Vatika Voices

Through the Vatika Voices campaign, the main objective was to establish Vatika as a Torchbearer for women’s rights to be self-reliant and independent. Our focus was to build a platform to give opportunities to aspiring & potential women to come together to share their stories and gain support to fulfill their dreams.

With this initiative, we wanted to change the narrative of society and set a benchmark that women can do everything when given a correct platform & exposure to their talent through proper guidance and training.

Vatika Voices is an initiative to shed light on women in MENA who have made the world sit up and take note. We not only wanted people to get inspired by these stories, we also wanted to help them towards their dreams. We called out the budding women who have that passion in them to achieve their dreams. We called out for entries in the microsite to gratify over 1,000 winners with over 15+ specialized courses and provide training by experts in different fields with real-life experiences through a 4-day workshop focussing on establishing their businesses and following their passion.

We teamed up with inspirational female figures to help share their story with the world. Vatika provided the platform to share real and raw stories of inspiring women. The first video was with the UAE’s First Female Boxer, Fahima Falaknaz who tells Us how she made it in a man’s world. The second video was with Areej Al Hamadi. In a society where the idea of girls playing football is still viewed with resistance, Areej Al Hammadi broke the Guinness Record, making the world sit up and take note. Areej broke the
world hot stepping record with an impressive 86 ball-control tricks in one minute, surpassing the previous mark of 56, set in March in the UK. She put Emirati women’s football on the world map and also has a name in the annals of history. The third video shared the story of Reem, and how she went from battling optic neuritis and pneumonia to being an Olympic Rowing Champion, Jiu Jitsu Champion, and Entrepreneur. The next video featured Dr. Sara AL Madani and her story of being an entrepreneur at 15, a single mom. The next video featured Chantal Asaad, the First Hijabi to ride the bike across the Middle East. The last video of the series was about the twin sisters Asmaa and Aya Elfardy. Asmaa is a CBT therapist while Aya is a commercial project leader. Careers aside, they are also doting mothers to their kids. The video showed how they flaunt the many hats they wear without compromising on work-life, choices, and individuality. This campaign was live on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram with over 10 Videos. Received over 1.5 Million Organic Views. 40+ articles were published about Vatika Voices that garnered over 1 Million impressions. We received over a thousand entries for the Vatika Voices Campaign.
